Position Overview

ITJobs.lk is partnering with a premier, fast-growing FinTech firm based in Singapore to recruit a visionary Senior Product Owner / Product Manager. This is a 100% remote, full-time opportunity for an experienced product leader residing in Sri Lanka to drive high-impact financial technology products on a global scale.

In this strategic role, you will be the driving force behind our core financial platforms, directly leading a dedicated team of high-performing engineering talent—including the Senior PHP/Laravel Software Engineers—to translate product vision into robust, scalable software solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Leadership & Strategy: Define, execute, and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and growth strategy for cutting-edge FinTech solutions in alignment with corporate objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and engineering. Lead and collaborate closely with the software development team (specifically our PHP/Laravel engineering squad) to ensure clear requirements and flawless sprint execution.

  • Backlog Management: Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog. Write clear, comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional leadership in Singapore, effectively managing expectations and presenting product updates.

  • Market & Data Analysis: Track industry trends, competitor movements, and user analytics within the digital payments and FinTech space to continuously optimize the product ecosystem.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • FinTech Domain Expertise: A proven track record as a Product Owner or Product Manager specifically within the FinTech, digital payments, or e-commerce domain is mandatory.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong experience leading agile development teams and a solid understanding of modern web architectures (experience working alongside PHP/Laravel engineering stacks is highly advantageous).

  • Agile Frameworks: Deep proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and modern product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro).

  • Timezone Availability: Ability to operate effectively on a full-time basis aligned with the Singapore Timezone (SGT).

  • Communication: Exceptional English communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage remote cross-functional teams.
