About the Role

Are you a passionate Senior Software Engineer looking to solve complex engineering challenges, build scalable systems, and collaborate with a world-class engineering team in the United States?

We are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing US-based software development company that is expanding its global team. In this role, you will work 100% remotely from Sri Lanka, taking full ownership of end-to-end features, architecting scalable backend/frontend systems, and collaborating directly with US tech leaders.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Design & Architect: Build scalable, high-performance, and resilient cloud solutions and microservices.

  • Full Lifecycle Development: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the full product stack.

  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior/mid-level engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with US product managers, designers, and tech leads in an Agile environment.

  • Performance Optimization: Drive system security, performance tuning, and architecture improvements.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise-grade software applications.

  • Tech Stack:

    • Proficiency in (backend): Node.js, Python, Java, Go..

    • Frontend experience using React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js.

    • Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and serverless/microservices architecture.

    • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (essential for US team alignment).

    • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a autonomous, remote-first environment.

    • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
