Key Job Responsibilities

As the SAP EWM Lead Consultant, you will be a critical bridge between client business needs and technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Solution Design and Blueprinting: Lead workshops and gather requirements to design robust, future-proof EWM solutions tailored to client business processes.
• Implementation Leadership: Manage the end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment of the EWM module, ensuring project delivery meets scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Client Management: Act as the primary EWM expert, providing strategic advice and managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to functional and technical consultants within the EWM workstream.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing).

Core Requirements and Experience

The ideal candidate must demonstrate expert-level capability in SAP EWM, backed by robust functional and technical knowledge.

Mandatory Technical and Functional Skills:

• Minimum 6+ years of total SAP consulting experience.
• Minimum 3+ full lifecycle implementations of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Deep expertise in configuring and customizing key EWM processes, including:
  • Inbound Processing (Receiving, Putaway Strategy)
  • Outbound Processing (Picking, Packing, Staging, Loading)
  • Internal Warehouse Processes (Physical Inventory, Stock Removal, Replenishment)
  • Integration with PP/QM/SD/MM modules.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and the migration path from legacy WMS solutions.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor junior consultants and coordinate with technical (ABAP/Basis) teams.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for client-facing engagements.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, MIS or relevant
• Master’s Degree Preferred
• SAP Certification in EWM or S/4HANA Supply Chain.
• Experience with other logistics modules like TM (Transportation Management) or LES.
• Prior experience working in an international or cross-cultural consulting environment.
