This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working from home with essential collaboration time at our state-of-the-art Colombo office.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of end-to-end solutions.
- Front-End Mastery (React): Build scalable, responsive, and reusable components using React, Redux/Context, and modern state management patterns.
- Back-End Power (Node.js): Design and implement high-performance, robust RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express/NestJS, and maintain secure database connections (SQL/NoSQL).
- Mentorship & Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce best practices (TDD/Unit Testing), and mentor mid-level and junior developers.
- DevOps & Deployment: Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker) to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer, with at least 1 year in a Senior or Lead capacity.
- React: Strong proficiency in modern React development (Hooks, Functional Components, state management).
- Node.js: Deep knowledge of Node.js and its frameworks (Express or NestJS).
- Databases: Expertise in at least one relational database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with a NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB).
- Version Control: Expert-level Git flow and branching strategies.
