ITJobs.lk is currently seeking a talented and forward-thinking AI/ML Engineer for a leading local IT firm in Sri Lanka. This is a Full-Time role with a Hybrid work model, offering a perfect balance between collaborative in-office sessions and the flexibility of working from home.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models and AI-driven features. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to integrate these models into production-ready applications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Development: Design, develop, and train machine learning models using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

  • Data Engineering: Collaborate on data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing pipelines to ensure high-quality training sets.

  • AI Integration: Deploy models into production environments and ensure they are scalable and performant.

  • Optimization: Continuously monitor and fine-tune models to improve accuracy and efficiency based on real-world data.

  • Research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

 

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or a similar data-centric role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Keras.

  • Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google Vertex AI is a strong advantage.

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
