About the Opportunity
Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for designing beautiful, intuitive, and highly functional digital experiences? One of Sri Lanka’s leading IT firms, based in Colombo, is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join their growing design and product development team.
In this role, you will work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment to transform complex user requirements into elegant visual interfaces and seamless workflows. This position operates on a hybrid model, offering the perfect balance between remote flexibility and impactful, face-to-face team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end user experience journey, from initial user research and wireframing to high-fidelity visual UI designs and interactive prototyping.

Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and frontend engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.

Create and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure visual consistency across web and mobile applications.

Conduct user research, user testing, and analyze feedback to continuously iterate and de-risk the product user experience.

Present design concepts and user journeys clearly to internal engineering teams and key stakeholders.
Requirements & Skills

Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of proven professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or in a similar digital design role within a tech environment.

Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing real-world examples of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms.

Design Tools: Mastery of industry-standard design tools, specifically Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

User-Centric Mindset: A solid understanding of user-centered design principals, UX research methodologies, and information architecture.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus but not mandatory.
