About the Opportunity
Are you a strategic QA leader with a passion for driving engineering excellence and delivery quality? One of the world’s leading multinational IT firms, based in Colombo, is seeking a visionary QA Manager to head their quality assurance teams and champion high-scale engineering standards.
In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end quality assurance lifecycle across complex enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities

Define, implement, and continuously improve the organizational QA strategy, governance frameworks, and automated testing standards.

Lead, mentor, and scale cross-functional teams of QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth, agility, and absolute delivery quality.

Collaborate closely with product managers, software architects, and delivery leads to de-risk release cycles and align QA roadmaps with business milestones.

Oversee the design and execution of robust test automation frameworks (functional, performance, security, and API testing).

Establish and track comprehensive QA metrics, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to present delivery readiness to international stakeholders.
Requirements & Skills

Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of total experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2–3 years in a dedicated leadership or managerial role.

Technical Savvy: Deep expertise in building scale-ready test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and managing CI/CD pipeline integration.

Agile Leadership: Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps frameworks within fast-paced multinational tech ecosystems.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, alongside proven stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.

Academic Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or an equivalent technical qualification. Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced/Manager level) are highly preferred.
