About the Opportunity
A prominent US-based firm is seeking a talented and motivated Game Developer to join their engineering team. This is a fully remote position operating on a US timezone, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home in Sri Lanka while collaborating with an international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement efficient, clean, and reliable game code.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional global teams, including artists, designers, and project managers.
- Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and software bugs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for codebase updates and game features.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Game Developer (strong portfolio of released games or prototypes is a plus).
- Proficiency in major game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and relevant programming languages (C++, C#, etc.).
- Strong understanding of game physics, 2D/3D graphics, and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently during US business hours.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for gaming.
