About the Client:

We are a premier US-based IT firm at the forefront of digital innovation. We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated AI/ML Engineer based in Sri Lanka to join our global engineering team. This is a fully remote role offering international exposure, a highly collaborative culture, and stability through USD-pegged compensation.

 

The Role:

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy robust machine learning models and AI systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in the US to transform data into intelligent features that power our core products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement production-grade machine learning models and algorithms.

  • Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and managing data pipelines for training models.

  • Optimize and scale existing ML models for maximum performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate effectively with US-based product and engineering teams during UT timezone working hours.

  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience working as an AI/ML Engineer.

  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and standard ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying models into production environments.

  • Communication: Exceptional English communication skills (both written and verbal) are mandatory for seamless collaboration with overseas stakeholders.

  • Work Environment: Ability to work full-time aligning with US UT timezone requirements. Must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated remote work setup.
