This Hybrid Tech Lead position is designed for an exceptional Senior Engineer who is ready for a significant step-up in architectural ownership and team leadership. Key Responsibilities & Impact

  • Architectural Oversight: Lead the design and development of robust, high-performance microservices using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Cloud Strategy: Drive the deployment, optimization, and scaling of services entirely within the AWS ecosystem, ensuring cost efficiency and fault tolerance.
  • Hands-on Development: Remain a significant individual contributor (estimated 60-70% hands-on coding), setting the standard for code quality through extensive code reviews and best practices.
  • Full Stack Integration: Guide development across the stack, ensuring optimal communication between the Java backend and the modern React.js frontend interfaces.
  • Mentorship: Actively coach and mentor mid-level and junior engineers, fostering technical skills growth and driving the adoption of DevOps and CI/CD principles.

Candidate Profile (Required Expertise)

Focus Area

  • Experience 6+ years of total software development experience, including 2+ years in a Senior or Leadership capacity.
  • Core Backend Expert proficiency in Java (11+) and extensive experience with Spring Boot for developing microservices.
  • Cloud & DevOps Deep knowledge of AWS services for computing, data, and deployment (e.g., ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS).
  • Frontend Solid proficiency in React development, including component architecture and state management.
  • Technical Stack Strong understanding of RESTful API design, database optimization (SQL/NoSQL), and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leadership Proven ability to lead, motivate, and technically guide engineering teams through the entire SDLC.
