ITJobs.lk is excited to announce an opening for a talented Frontend Developer to join a premier US-based Business Intelligence (BI) firm at their Sri Lankan branch.
This is a Full-Time, 100% Remote position, perfect for those who thrive in an agile, global environment. The role is initially a 6–12 month contract with a high probability of renewal based on project requirements and performance.
The Role
Working directly with the US engineering team, you will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and visually stunning web interfaces. As a BI firm, our focus is on data clarity and user experience; you will turn complex data into intuitive, interactive dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

Core Development: Develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js.

Performance Optimization: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaboration: Work closely with Backend Engineers and Data Scientists to integrate RESTful APIs and real-time data streams.

Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in peer code reviews.

BI Visualization: Implement complex data charts and interactive components to help users visualize deep business insights.
Requirements

Technical Mastery: Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React.js and Next.js.

Styling & UI: Strong command of CSS3, HTML5, and modern styling libraries (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Material UI).

State Management: Experience with Redux, Context API, or similar state management tools.

Communication: Excellent English communication skills are mandatory, as you will be collaborating directly with US-based stakeholders.

Professionalism: Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Plus Points: Familiarity with data visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Highcharts is a significant advantage.
