The Opportunity
ITJobs.lk is exclusively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join a leading software development company in Colombo. This is a critical hybrid role where you will drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key product lines, specializing in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.

What You Will Do

Define and Drive Product Strategy: Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap, focusing specifically on enhancing and expanding the company’s ERP solution offerings.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (development, sales, leadership) and external customers, defining business value and prioritizing features.

Requirements Management: Author, refine, and prioritize the Product Backlog (user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria) in alignment with business goals.

Development Collaboration: Work closely with Scrum teams, clarifying requirements, and participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather user feedback to identify new opportunities and validate product features within the ERP space.

Acceptance: Define and validate the definition of done (DoD) and accept or reject completed work increments.
Key Requirements (Must-Haves)

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Mandatory ERP Experience: Proven working knowledge and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or bespoke solutions).

Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification is highly desirable.

Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical trade-offs and communicate effectively with software engineers.

Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal in English), negotiation, and presentation skills.
