About the Company: Our client is a premier, fast-growing Fintech enterprise in Sri Lanka, delivering cutting-edge financial technology solutions to local and international markets. They are looking for a dynamic, agile, and results-driven Project Manager to lead high-impact development teams and drive the execution of complex fintech products.

 

The Role: As a Project Manager, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant financial technology software.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of fintech projects, from scoping and requirement gathering to deployment.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Software Engineers, QA, Product Managers, and DevOps.

  • Implement and champion Agile/Scrum methodologies to optimize sprint cycles and team velocity.

  • Manage project risks, anticipate bottlenecks, and proactively clear blockers for the development team.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing transparent and data-driven project updates.

  • Ensure all deliverables meet the rigorous security, compliance, and quality standards required in the financial tech domain.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master, ideally within an IT firm, software house, or Fintech environment.

  • Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Trello.

  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks (PMP or CSM certifications are a distinct advantage).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Prior experience dealing with payment gateways, banking integrations, or digital wallets is highly desirable.
