About the Client

Our client is a leading Financial Institution in Colombo, Sri Lanka, recognized for driving digital transformation and excellence in the banking and financial services sector. They are looking to expand their core technology team with a high-caliber Senior .NET Developer who thrives in building secure, robust, and scalable transaction-heavy systems.

 

The Role

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications that power core financial operations. You will play a pivotal role in architectural decisions, code quality assurance, and mentoring junior engineers within an agile product development lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using modern .NET frameworks.

  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and security compliance to handle high-volume financial transactions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and system architects to translate financial business requirements into scalable code.

  • Conduct code reviews and champion engineering best practices (TDD, CI/CD, clean architecture).

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing enterprise-level applications.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent professional qualification.

  • Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with deep technical expertise as a Senior Developer.

  • Core Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in modern .NET core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and microservices architecture.

  • Database Expertise: Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL query optimization.

  • Domain Advantage: Prior experience working within the Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services domain is highly advantageous.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
