Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer specializing in React and Next.js to join a dynamic international team based in Australia. This is a 100% remote position, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge web applications while collaborating directly with global stakeholders.
As a Senior-level hire, you will be responsible for architecting scalable frontend solutions, ensuring high performance, and maintaining a seamless user experience for an international user base.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React and Next.js.

Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Collaborate with the Australian-based product team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency.

Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional industrial experience in frontend development.

Core Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in React and Next.js (including App Router, Server Actions, and SSR/SSG patterns).

Languages: Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

Communication: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory, as you will interact daily with Australian stakeholders.

Tools: Proficiency with Git, modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind/Styled Components), and state management libraries.
