About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer (PHP & Laravel) to join a leading IT firm based in Colombo 04. In this hybrid role, you will work on scaling robust web applications, building seamless frontend interfaces, and developing efficient backend systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP and Laravel.

  • Build responsive frontend interfaces and integrate them seamlessly with backend APIs.

  • Optimize database queries, schemas, and performance (MySQL / PostgreSQL).

  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code adhering to industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and solve complex technical challenges.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on commercial experience in PHP and Laravel development.

  • Backend: Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, RESTful API design, and database management.

  • Frontend: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, React, or jQuery).

  • Tools: Solid experience with version control systems (Git) and API testing tools (Postman).

  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
