We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Software Engineer (Java & Angular) on behalf of a leading IT firm in Sri Lanka. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain secure, high-scale applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.

Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best engineering standards.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, product managers, and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Design and integrate high-performing RESTful APIs and microservices.

Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor mid/junior software engineers.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the entire software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in full-stack software development.

Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.

Frontend Expertise: Solid hands-on experience with Angular (v10+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.

Database & Storage: Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and familiar with ORM frameworks.

Tools & DevOps: Practical knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
