About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong focus on IT & Technical Recruitment to join a leading local IT company. In this role, you will lead end-to-end hiring across various technical domains, partnering closely with engineering leads and executive management to attract, engage, and hire top-tier tech talent in Sri Lanka.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of technical recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Partner with engineering managers and technical project leads to understand hiring requirements and define candidate personas.

  • Execute proactive sourcing strategies via LinkedIn Recruiter, tech forums, job boards, and industry networking events.

  • Screen technical profiles and conduct initial behavioral and cultural-fit interviews.

  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified technical talent for current and future hiring needs.

  • Ensure a seamless, engaging, and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Monitor hiring metrics and provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of dedicated experience in IT/Tech talent acquisition within a tech firm or specialized recruitment agency.

  • Proven track record of successfully filling software engineering, DevOps, QA, and IT infrastructure roles.

  • Deep understanding of the Sri Lankan tech talent landscape, local salary benchmarks, and tech skill sets.

  • Familiarity with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and tech sourcing tools.

  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment in Colombo.
