About the Role

We are sourcing an experienced and self-driven IT Recruiter to join an Australia-based IT Firm on a full-time, remote basis from Sri Lanka. You will work directly with the Australian recruitment and management teams, sourcing top software talent, screening candidates, and building talent pipelines for fast-paced international projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Source high-caliber tech professionals through headhunting, Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and international talent pools.

  • Conduct thorough initial screening calls to assess technical skills, English proficiency, and organizational fit.

  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and Australian engineering leads.

  • Maintain candidate records and track recruitment pipelines using modern ATS tools.

  • Build long-term relationships with active and passive technical candidates.

  • Collaborate daily with overseas hiring managers to align on active hiring priorities.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in technical recruitment or headhunting (agency or internal).

  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills (essential for direct collaboration with Australian teams).

  • Demonstrated ability to source passive technical candidates for niche software roles.

  • Familiarity with ATS platforms, Boolean operators, and proactive talent mapping.

  • High level of self-motivation, organization, and accountability to thrive in a 100% remote working environment.
