Job Description

Freelance AI Automation / Full-Stack Developer – Sri Lanka

We are a New Zealand-based business group looking for a talented freelance AI developer in Sri Lanka to work with us on multiple AI, automation and e-commerce projects.
This is not just a chatbot/prompt-engineering role. We are looking for someone who can build and deploy working AI applications and automations.

Skills we’re interested in:

• Python
• OpenAI / Claude / Gemini APIs
• AI Agents & LLM applications
• RAG / vector databases
• n8n / Make / workflow automation
• API integrations & webhooks
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Shopify / WooCommerce integrations
• GoHighLevel integrations
• AWS / cloud deployment
• GitHub

Projects could include:

• AI sales agents
• AI customer-service agents
• E-commerce automation
• Product sourcing and supplier intelligence
• Automotive-parts search systems
• AI lead qualification
• Website AI agents
• Internal business automation
• AI-powered SaaS products

We are looking for someone practical who enjoys building, not simply advising.
Initially this will be freelance/project-based work, with the possibility of substantial ongoing work for the right person.

To apply, please send:
Your hourly/project rate
GitHub profile
Portfolio
2–3 AI applications or automations you have personally built
Technologies you used
Your availability each week
A short explanation of the most sophisticated AI agent/automation you have built

Important: Please include links to working projects or GitHub repositories where possible.
Location: Sri Lanka
Work: Remote
Engagement: Freelance / Contract
