Role Overview: Are you a tech-savvy professional who enjoys both coding and strategic problem-solving? We are looking for a unique Junior Business Analyst cum Software Engineer to join a pioneering Australian MedTech firm. This is a 100% remote, full-time role designed for a candidate based in Sri Lanka who wants to bridge the gap between healthcare requirements and technical execution.

 

The Dual-Nature of the Role (50/50 Split): This is a hybrid position where your time will be divided equally between two critical functions:

  1. 50% Software Development: Building and maintaining modern healthcare applications.

  2. 50% Business Analysis: Researching user needs, analyzing MedTech trends, and defining product requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack Development: Develop and optimize web applications using React (Frontend) and Python (Backend).

  • Requirements Engineering: Liaise with the Australian team to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for medical software features.

  • Product Research: Conduct research on MedTech regulations and competitor products in the AU market to suggest functional improvements.

  • Quality & Testing: Assist in QA processes to ensure software meets stringent healthcare industry standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of industrial experience in Software Development AND Business Analysis/Researching.

  • Technical Stack: Proven experience in React is essential, along with a basic understanding of Python.

  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory for direct collaboration with Australian stakeholders.

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications.
