About the Role

ITJobs.lk is seeking an organized and highly articulate Project Coordinator on behalf of a leading technology enterprise in Colombo. This is a 3-to-6-month full-time contract position (Onsite / Hybrid).

In this role, you will support project managers and tech teams by organizing project workflows, maintaining documentation, tracking task completion, and ensuring clear communication across project stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in tracking project timelines, action items, and deliverables across software projects.

  • Organize project meetings, record concise meeting minutes (MOMs), and follow up on assigned task items.

  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, and administrative records.

  • Act as a reliable liaison between technical teams, project leads, and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Monitor project resource allocation, track task bottlenecks, and help maintain project momentum.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Prior hands-on experience working as a Project Coordinator, ideally within an IT or software environment.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, multitasking capability, and proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Excel).

  • Work Setup: Ability to work full-time (Onsite or Hybrid) out of Colombo, Sri Lanka for the 3–6 month contract duration.
