About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a leading software engineering firm based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This is a full-time, 100% onsite position focused on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical talent across software engineering, cloud, DevOps, quality assurance, and product disciplines.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end technical recruitment lifecycle. You will leverage modern sourcing techniques, deep market research, and advanced recruitment tools to build strong talent pipelines and deliver an exceptional candidate experience in a competitive tech market.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Technical Recruitment: Manage the complete talent acquisition lifecycle for engineering roles—from job requirement intake sessions with tech leads to final offer negotiation and onboarding.

• Proactive Sourcing & Talent Mapping: Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, complex Boolean search strings, Github, Stack Overflow, and tech community networks to headhunt passive candidates.

• Systems & Pipeline Management: Maintain high data integrity and manage candidate pipelines efficiently using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

• Candidate Evaluation: Conduct thorough behavioral and initial technical screening calls to assess candidate technical fit, soft skills, culture alignment, and salary expectations.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, and HR leadership to align on hiring priorities, interview loops, and SLA targets.

• Employer Branding: Represent the organization professionally across tech events, career fairs, and social channels, enhancing the company’s employer brand as a employer of choice in Sri Lanka.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Location & Work Setup: Must be based in Sri Lanka and available for a Full-Time Onsite role in Colombo.

• Industry Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of dedicated experience as an IT Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist within the IT / Software Development Industry.

• Core Technical Sourcing Skills:

  • Advanced hands-on proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and complex Boolean Search logic.

  • Proven experience utilizing modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.

  • Solid understanding of software engineering stacks, tech roles, frameworks, and industry hiring benchmarks in Sri Lanka.

• Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional written and spoken English, paired with strong negotiation, candidate management, and interpersonal skills.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CIPM/PQHRM).

Good to Have Skills

• Experience conducting tech talent acquisition for international clients or global software delivery centers.

• Familiarity with data-driven recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, channel efficiency).
