ITJobs.lk is partnering with a leading Software Development Company in Colombo to find a strategic and results-driven Project Manager (ERP). This is a Full-Time, Permanent role for a leader who excels at the intersection of business processes and technical execution.
This position follows a Hybrid work model, offering the flexibility of remote work alongside in-office collaboration and occasional on-site client visits to ensure successful implementation and relationship management.
The Role
As the ERP Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade ERP solutions. You won’t just be managing timelines; you will be managing expectations, complex workflows, and a talented team of developers and consultants. You will be the bridge between client requirements and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP projects (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, etc.) from inception to “Go-Live.”

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, QA, and functional consultants, ensuring high productivity and morale.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting requirements gathering sessions and providing regular progress updates.

On-Site Consulting: Visit client premises to oversee deployments, conduct user training, and troubleshoot process-related bottlenecks.

Risk & Scope Management: Identify project risks early, manage scope creep, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Process Optimization: Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications that align with ERP best practices.
Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Project Management, with at least 3 years specifically focused on ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or custom ERPs).

Technical Background: Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Talent Management: Proven experience in managing technical teams and handling the nuances of developer workflows.

Communication: Exceptional command of English (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.

Mobility: Willingness to travel to client sites within Sri Lanka when necessary.

Certification: PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
