About the Role
Are you a seasoned AI/ML Specialist looking to build cutting-edge financial technology solutions for the global market?
On behalf of a industry-leading Fintech firm based in Singapore, ITJobs.lk is seeking a high-performing Senior AI/ML Engineer based in Sri Lanka. In this role, you will design, architect, and deploy intelligent machine learning systems and AI models that drive next-generation digital banking and financial services across Asia.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models (NLP, Predictive Analytics, Computer Vision, or Generative AI) into production.

Work closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams in Singapore to integrate AI capabilities into core financial products.

Optimize ML pipelines for real-time inference, high availability, and strict latency requirements.

Implement robust MLOps practices for model tracking, monitoring, data versioning, and automated retraining.

Ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and ethical AI standards within the fintech framework.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI Engineering (Fintech or High-Scale SaaS background is a strong plus).

Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

Data & Cloud: solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ML pipelines (Kubeflow, MLflow, or Airflow).

Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, big data frameworks, and API development (FastAPI/Flask).

Timezone: Ability to align daily working hours with Singapore Timezone (SGT).

Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for collaborating with global stakeholders.
