About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber, strategic Senior Product Owner / Product Manager to drive product vision and execution for a fast-growing US-based Fintech firm. This is a 100% remote, full-time position on a 1-year contract, operating during US business hours for candidates based in Sri Lanka.

In this role, you will own the product roadmap, translate complex financial and business requirements into actionable user stories, and work directly with US executive leadership and engineering teams to build high-impact financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, aligning features with the overall business objectives of the fintech platform.

• Requirement Engineering: Translate high-level business goals into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and QA teams.

• Agile Execution: Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and product demos within an Agile/Scrum delivery framework.

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the core liaison between US business stakeholders, customer success, product designers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

• Fintech Delivery: Oversee product releases, monitor core financial KPIs, evaluate user analytics, and ensure regulatory and data security alignment within the product lifecycle.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Fintech Domain Expertise: Minimum 2+ years of direct, hands-on commercial experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services domain.

• Product Ownership Track Record: Strong experience leading product discovery, feature scoping, and agile delivery for enterprise software applications.

• US Client Exposure: Prior experience working directly with US-based stakeholders, clients, or cross-border development teams is highly preferred.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for executive-level presentation and stakeholder management.

• Timezone Commitment: Full commitment to working US business hours from Sri Lanka on a 1-year full-time contract, backed by a reliable remote work setup (uninterrupted internet and power backup).
