About the Role We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to join a leading software development firm in Sri Lanka. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-performance enterprise applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver robust software solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.

  • Code Quality & Architecture: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, participating in code reviews and enforcing architectural best practices.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure Deployment: Deploy, manage, and monitor applications using cloud platforms and containerization tools.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Technical Mentorship: Guide junior and mid-level engineers, sharing technical knowledge and fostering engineering excellence.

 

Qualifications & Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on industrial software engineering experience.

  • Frontend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Angular or React, alongside advanced TypeScript.

  • Backend Expertise: Solid experience building backend services with C# .NET Core or Java Spring Boot.

  • Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience working with cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder collaboration abilities.
