About the Client

Our client is a leading Financial Institution in Colombo, Sri Lanka, committed to delivering world-class digital experiences in the banking and financial services sector. To accelerate their digital transformation strategy, they are expanding their frontend engineering team with a talented Senior Frontend Developer specializing in React.

 

The Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will own the user-facing side of our client’s web applications. You will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the digital application looks as well as how it functions for thousands of daily financial users.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive, highly secure, and performance-optimized web applications using React.

  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, pixel-perfect code.

  • Build reusable frontend components and libraries for future scalability across financial platforms.

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, security, and scalability.

  • Ensure frontend code quality through code reviews, component testing, and engineering best practices.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in React development.

  • Design Focus: Strong UI/UX development experience with an eye for clean layouts, intuitive user journeys, and modern aesthetic standards.

  • Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, state management tools (such as Redux), and frontend build pipelines.

  • Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and securing web interfaces against standard vulnerabilities.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
