On behalf of a leading Financial Institution in Colombo, ITJobs.lk is looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager – Fintech to lead ambitious modernization initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in digital innovation environments where vendor enablement, strategic execution, and ecosystem readiness are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:

Transformation Strategy: Operationalize gap assessments to define target-state digital operating models.

Vendor & Partner Management: Drive RFP processes, conduct vendor capability evaluations, and onboard strategic technology partners into the delivery pipeline.

Agile Execution: Implement and facilitate Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks, ensuring absolute clarity for epics, features, and user stories.

Digital Change Leadership: Bridge traditional financial services with modern Fintech solutions, acting as a key change ambassador across business and tech teams.

Governance & Risk: Proactively track and mitigate RAID items while maintaining clear delivery metrics and governance dashboards for executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: 8–10 years of proven Project Management experience within Fintech or Financial Services.

Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with JIRA and hybrid/Agile delivery methodologies.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).

Certifications: PMP, CSM, CSPO, or SAFe certifications are highly preferred.

Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, structured problem-solving, and the ability to drive progress in fast-evolving environments.
