About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and credibility-driven Senior ERP Solution Engineer / Presales Consultant based in Sri Lanka to join an international IT solutions enterprise. This is a full-time, fully remote position operating strictly aligned with Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT).

In this pivotal role, you will act as the principal subject matter expert, delivering high-impact technical demonstrations, crafting cognitive ERP architectures, and advising C-level decision-makers across manufacturing, distribution, and financial industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Presentations & Demos: Deliver high-credibility technical presentations, ERP solution demonstrations, and cost-benefit evaluations to C-level executives in both one-on-one meetings and large group formats.

• Presales Strategy & Architecture: Partner strategically with direct and channel sales teams prior to customer calls to uncover emerging business opportunities and design tailored ERP solution blueprints.

• Business-Centric Solution Design: Design technical business architectures that address complex customer infrastructures while navigating business limitations and operational opportunities.

• Team Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and upskill internal Solution Engineering teams through proactive knowledge sharing, training, and best practice dissemination.

• Strategic Growth Initiatives: Drive key business development initiatives alongside sales partners and enterprise clients across regional markets.

• Travel Expectation: Occasional business travel required (approximately 20%).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Location & Work Setup: Must be based in Sri Lanka and strictly available to work during Australian Timezone hours (AEST/AEDT).

• Industry Experience: Minimum 8+ years of demonstrated success in presales, solution engineering, or consulting within the ERP ecosystem (or equivalent operational ERP experience).

• Domain Knowledge: Strong background in the Manufacturing sector, with additional experience in Distribution or Financial services preferred.

• Channel & Direct Sales: Proven track record supporting both direct enterprise sales and channel partner networks (VARs).

• Vendor Exposure: Prior experience working with top-tier ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle/NetSuite, Infor, Sage, or Syspro) or their Value-Added Resellers is strongly advantageous.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience.

• Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and C-level stakeholder management skills in English.
